I sat at the lunch table where I work and wondered how many colleagues who were watching TV football had a hero. I don’t watch TV so I don’t have a TV sports hero. But, like many folks, I like to think of political whistleblowers as heroes.
Are Assange and Snowden my political heroes? Mike King of tomatobubble.com calls them “Fake and Faker” and I tend to agree with him.
I think Sibel Edmonds is a real whistleblower; therefore, she is one of my political heroes. Recently she wrote about the stupidity of media-created heroes. She discusses three top heroes and how we worshipped them. And the result? They disappointed us and became obscenely rich because of our stupidity.
The Shady World of Right-Wing ‘Discipline’ Guides By Frank Schaeffer
November 12, 2011 “Information Clearing House” — There is a brutal movement in America that legitimizes child abuse in the name of God. Two stories recently converged to make us pay attention. Last week, a video went viral of a Texas judge brutally whipping his disabled daughter. And on Monday, the New York Times published a story about child deaths in homes that have embraced the teachings of To Train Up a Child, a book by Christian preacher Michael Pearl that advocates using a switch on children as young as six months old.
What many people may not realize is that in the evangelical alternative universe of the home school movement, tightly knit church communities and the following of a number of big-time leaders and authors, physical punishment of children has been glorified for years.
As the Times illustrates — “Preaching Virtue of Spanking, Even as Deaths Fuel Debate” — the books of Michael Pearl and his wife Debi have been found in the homes where several children were killed.
They’re not the only right-wing Christians who advocate these methods. Some of the most respected evangelical discipline gurus have made beating children not just “respectable” in conservative religious circles, but even turned it into a godly activity.
In 1977 James Dobson founder of the “Focus on the Family” religious empire and radio program, wrote a book called Dare To Discipline, whose purpose was, essentially, to get parents to beat their children.
In his book Dobson glorified a sadomasochistic/spiritual ritual of “discipline.” He said he wanted to stop a “liberal” trend in America that was moving away from the godly thrashing of infants. He wanted to help “restore” America to God and the good old days of child hitting. This fit in well with the notion of God as retribution-in-chief that evangelicals endorse.
Dobson isn’t alone. There’s also the work of evangelical “family values” guru Bill Gothard, with a following of millions. As reported by the Cincinnati Beacon, Matthew Murray, the young shooter who killed a bunch of churchgoers in 2007, had been raised according to the teachings of evangelist Bill Gothard.
“I remember the beatings and the fighting and yelling and insane rules and all the Bill Gothard rules and then trancing out,” he wrote Dec. 1 under the monicker “nghtmrchld26” on a Web forum for former Pentecostal Christians.
Bill Gothard is the founder of the Institute in Basic Life Principles in Illinois, which promotes a Christian home “education” program. As quoted in the Beacon article Murray said “I remember how it was, like every day was Mission Impossible trying to keep the rules or not get caught and just …survive every single (expletive) day,”
In The Strong Willed Child (Living Books 1992), Dobson makes a parallel between beating children and beating dogs:
“I had seen this defiant mood before, and knew there was only one way to deal with it. The ONLY way to make Siggie obey is to threaten him with destruction. Nothing else works. I turned and went to my closet and got a small belt to help me ‘reason’ with Mr. Freud.
“What developed next is impossible to describe. That tiny dog and I had the most vicious fight ever staged between man and beast. I fought him up one wall and down the other, with both of us scratching and clawing and growling and swinging the belt. I am embarrassed by the memory of the entire scene. Inch by inch I moved him toward the family room and his bed. As a final desperate maneuver, Siggie backed into the corner for one last snarling stand. I eventually got him to bed, only because I outweighed him 200 to 12!
“But this is not a book about the discipline of dogs; there is an important moral to my story that is highly relevant to the world of children. JUST AS SURELY AS A DOG WILL OCCASIONALLY CHALLENGE THE AUTHORITY OF HIS LEADERS, SO WILL A LITTLE CHILD — ONLY MORE SO.” [Emphasis Dobson’s]
“[I]t is possible to create a fussy, demanding baby by rushing to pick him up every time he utters a whimper or sigh. Infants are fully capable of learning to manipulate their parents through a process called reinforcement, whereby any behavior that produces a pleasant result will tend to recur. Thus, a healthy baby can keep his mother hopping around his nursery twelve hours a day (or night) by simply forcing air past his sandpaper larynx.
“Perhaps this tendency toward self-will is the essence of ‘original sin’ which has infiltrated the human family. It certainly explains why I place such stress on the proper response to willful defiance during childhood, for that rebellion can plant the seeds of personal disaster.”
Dobson is mild compared to the popular evangelical authors Michael and Debi Pearl. In their book To Train Up a Child (1994) they advocate beating babies.
In the book they recommend “switching” a 7-month-old on the bare bottom or leg seven to eight times as a punishment for getting angry. If the baby is still angry, the urge parents to repeat the punishment until the child gives in to the pain. The “switch” they recommend for an under 1-year-old is from a willow tree and/or a 12-inch ruler.
The leadership of the evangelical world, from Billy Graham to the editors of Christianity Today magazine or the megachurch pastors like Rick Warren, have not called for the banishment of abusers like the Pearls, Dobson or Gothard. These people remain in good standing.
In the Pearls’ case, actual criminal complaints have been brought against some parents who have killed their children and who have been following the “methods” in To Train Up a Child. This book can be nevertheless be found in thousands of “respectable” evangelical bookstores. Here’s what the evangelicals approve by their silence and complicity, as noted in the Examiner and many other media sources:
A California couple has been charged with murder and torture after their discipline methods caused the death of one of their children and critical injuries for another.Kevin and Elizabeth Schatz of Paradise, California, are accused of murdering their 7-year-old adopted daughter during a “discipline session.” The couple is also charged with the torture of their 11-year-old adopted daughter and cruelty to a child for signs of bruising discovered on their 10-year-old biological son.
The parents allegedly used a 15-inch length of plastic tubing used for plumbing to beat the children, a practice recommended in the book “To Train Up a Child” by Michael and Debi Pearl of “No Greater Joy Ministries.”
The same plumbing supply tools were linked to a North Carolina child’s death in 2006, when a devotee of the Pearls accidentally killed her 4-year-old son by suffocating him in tightly wrapped blankets.
Police later found out about the Pearls’ recommendations to beat children with this type of plumbing supply tubing from a Salon Magazine article, “Spare the quarter-inch plumbing supply line, spoil the child.”
Mr. Pearl, who has no degree or training in child development, writes in his book that he and his wife used “the same principles the Amish use to train their stubborn mules” — namely, “switches.”
On their web site, the Pearls write that “switching” or giving “licks” with a plumbing supply line is a “real attention getter.”
And it is not just individuals who are abused. Whole “Christian” organizations are involved. According to a report by Channel 13 WTHR Indianapolis (and many other media sources over the years),
“At first glance, the Bill Gothard-founded and run Indianapolis Training Center looks like an ordinary conference hotel. But some say there are dark secrets inside. “They’re not here to play,” Mark Cavanaugh, an ITC staffer tells a mother on hidden-camera video. ‘They’re here because they’ve been disobedient, they’ve been disrespectful.'”
He’s talking about young offenders who are sent to the center by the Marion County Juvenile Court. Critics of the program here, however, have another view. “This is sort of a shadow world where these kids almost disappear,” said John Krull, executive director of the Indiana Civil Liberties Union. The pitch for the centers says that they were founded by Gothard because: “At the age of 15, Bill Gothard noticed some of his high school classmates making unwise decisions. Realizing that they would have to live with the consequences of these decisions, he was motivated to dedicate his life to helping young people make wise choices.”
The WTHR report goes on to detail how they help these young people make “wise choices”:
“But Eyewitness News has learned of disturbing allegations about the center, including routine corporal punishment — sometimes without parental consent — and solitary confinement that can last for months.
And just last week, Child Protective Services began investigating the center. That investigation involves Teresa Landis, whose 10-year-old daughter spent nearly a year at the center — sent there, according to Judge Payne, after she attacked a teacher and a school bus driver. What happened next outrages her family and critics of the ITC. The girl allegedly was confined in a so-called “quiet room” for five days at a time; restrained by teenage “leaders” who would sit on her; and hit her with a wooden paddle 14 times. At least once, the family contends, she was prevented from going to the bathroom and then forced to sit in her own urine.”
Dobson, the Pearls and Gothard both have a big followings in Rick Perry’s hang-em’-high “Christian” Texas. And Texas is where evangelical leader Gary North is based as he writes and preaches his Reconstructionist/Dominionist theology about applying literal Old Testament law — including the execution of “incorrigible youths” — as mandated by the Bible. So even Dobson is “mild” by comparison to the Reconstructionists who did so much to influence the far-right “Christian” politics — the likes of Michele Bachmann and Rick Perry.
Here is how evangelical “man of God” Dobson describes how to beat a child using his own life as a guide. He writes in The New Dare To Discipline:
“The day I learned the importance of staying out of reach shines like a neon light in my mind. I made the costly mistake of sassing her when I was about four feet away. I knew I had crossed the line and wondered what she would do about it. It didn’t take long to find out. Mom wheeled around to grab something with which to express her displeasure, and her hand landed on a girdle.
“Those were the days when a girdle was lined with rivets and mysterious panels. She drew back and swung the abominable garment in my direction, and I can still hear it whistling through the air. The intended blow caught me across the chest, followed by a multitude of straps and buckles, wrapping themselves around my midsection. She gave me an entire thrashing with one blow! But from that day forward, I measured my words carefully when addressing my mother. I never spoke disrespectfully to her again, even when she was seventy-five years old.”
Meanwhile the evangelical leaders who embrace Dobson, the Pearls and Gothard will continue to tell the rest of us how to live “moral” lives while children are beaten in the name of Jesus.

I’ve been an evangelical Christian since I was a child. I’ve been in the Gospel ministry all of my adult life. I attended two evangelical Christian colleges, received honorary degrees from two others, and taught and preached in several others. I’ve attended many of the largest evangelical pastors’ gatherings and have been privileged to speak at Christian gatherings–large and small–all over America. I have been part of the inner workings of evangelical ministry for nearly 40 years. I think I learned a thing or two about evangelical/fundamentalist Christianity in America. And I’m here to tell you: I don’t like what I see happening these days!
Let’s get this straight right out of the gate: nothing touched by man can be perfect, because none of us is perfect. There is no perfect church, perfect school, perfect mission board, perfect Sunday School class, perfect pastor, perfect deacon, or perfect Christian. Until the afterlife, we are all yet encased in Adamic flesh, complete with human weaknesses and imperfections. And only the Pharisaical among us are too proud to admit it.
That said, I do think it is more than fair to say that, historically, Christians have always attempted to be–and have always publicly taught the importance of being–peacemakers. Historically, Christians have preached–and tried to practice–love and brotherhood. The early church was born in a baptism of love and unity. Oh sure, there were always individual misunderstandings and differences, but, on the whole, the church was a loving, caring, compassionate ecclesia.
Mind you, Christians historically were not afraid or ashamed to defend themselves, their families, and their country. The Lord Jesus, Himself (the Prince of Peace), allowed His disciples to carry personal defense weapons (see Luke 22:36,38). Yes, while some Christian sects were conscientious pacifists, these were the exception, not the rule. The vast majority of Christian believers understood the Biblical, Natural Law principle of self-defense. But believing in the right of lawful, God-ordained self-defense was never to be confused with warmongering.
So, what has happened to turn the most peace-loving institution the world has ever known (the New Testament church) into the biggest cheerleaders for war? I’m talking about un-provoked, illegal, unconstitutional, unbiblical–even secret–wars of aggression. The biggest cheerleaders for the unprovoked, unconstitutional, pre-emptive attack and invasion of Iraq were evangelical Christians. Ditto for the war in Afghanistan, the bombing of Libya, the attacks in Yemen, etc. Who is calling for the bombing of Iran? Evangelical Christians. Who cheers for sending more and more troops all over the world to maim and kill more and more people (including innocents)? Evangelical Christians. Shoot (pun intended)! Most evangelical Christians didn’t even bat an eye when the federal government sent military and police personnel to murder American citizens, including old men, women, and children–Christian old men, women, and children, no less–outside Waco, Texas.
And where are today’s evangelical Christians giving a second thought regarding their fellow Christian brothers and sisters in many of these Middle Eastern countries that are being persecuted, imprisoned, tortured, and killed by the puppet regimes being put in power by the US government–at US taxpayer (including Christian taxpayer) expense? I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but more Christians have been persecuted under the US-imposed regime in Iraq than were ever persecuted when Saddam Hussein was in power. Oh! And don’t forget that it was the US government that was responsible for putting Saddam Hussein in power to begin with. The US government set up Osama bin Laden, too. But I digress.
In addition to the “white” wars (the ones everyone knows about), the US government authorizes some 70 black ops commando raids in some 120 countries EVERY DAY. In fact, the secret, black ops military of the US is so large today it now totals more personnel than the ENTIRE MILITARY OF CANADA!
A recent report noted, “In 120 countries across the globe, troops from Special Operations Command carry out their secret war of high-profile assassinations, low-level targeted killings, capture/kidnap operations, kick-down-the-door night raids, joint operations with foreign forces, and training missions with indigenous partners as part of a shadowy conflict unknown to most Americans. Once ‘special’ for being small, lean, outsider outfits, today they are special for their power, access, influence, and aura.”
Yet, how much of this knowledge would even faze the average evangelical Christian today? All we hear from today’s “churches” is “bomb,” “attack,” “wipe them out,” etc. Then, at the same time, they get all emotional about sending missionaries to the same countries that they had just cheered-on the US military in raining down missiles of death and destruction upon (to bring salvation to the lucky ones that weren’t killed, I suppose).
And who are the ones that belittle and impugn Ron Paul? Evangelical Christians. Why? Because he tells the truth about America’s foreign policy being responsible for much of the hatred and bitterness erupting in foreign countries against us. I guarantee you that many of the “conservative” Republicans who booed Dr. Paul’s comments to this regard at the GOP Presidential debate this week would identify themselves as evangelical Christians.
The disciples of our Lord were called “Christians” first by the Gentiles of Antioch, because of the manner in which the disciples reminded them of Christ’s nature and teachings. I never thought I would hear myself say what I’m about to say, but the truth is, the term “Christian” today means anything but Christ-like. To many people today, “Christian” refers to some warmongering, mean-spirited, throw-anyone-to-the-wolves-who-crosses-them person, who then has the audacity to look down their nose in contempt against anyone who disagrees with them for even the smallest reason. And the word “church” has the stigma of being simply an enclave of warmongers to many people today. And that, my friends, is one reason so many people are so turned off with today’s Christianity. And I can’t say that I blame them. I’m turned off too!
Am I a pacifist? Absolutely not! Do I believe an individual, a family, a community, or a nation has the right to protect and defend itself? I absolutely do! And the fellow who breaks into my home or who attacks my loved ones will personally discover I believe that! But this blind support for illegal, immoral, unconstitutional war is anything but Christian. Not only is it turning people against our country among people abroad, it is turning our own countrymen against the Christ we Christians claim to love right here at home.
I dare say that the modern Warfare State would grind to a screeching halt tomorrow if evangelical Christians would simply stop supporting it! And the thing that most evangelical Christians fail to realize is that the Warfare State is one of the primary tools that the evil one is using to usher in his devilish New World Order that even babes in Christ know to be of Satan. Hence, Christians are helping to promote the very thing that Satan, himself, is using to enslave them.
Yes, I’ve been an evangelical Christian for most of my life and an evangelical pastor for all of my adult life. And if we Christians do not quickly repent of this bloodlust that seems to dominate evangelical Christianity today (spiritually and militarily), the word that was first used by un-churched Gentiles to describe Christ’s followers will be used as a curse-word to describe those who facilitated the ruination of our country.

A PROFILE OF RICK PERRY’S ‘PRAYER’ SUPPORTERS
Three days ago I posted The Hypocrite’s Masquerade, an article I wrote on Texas Governor Rick Perry and his somewhat dubious “prayer and fast” rally held August 6 at a sports stadium in Houston. The article covered Perry’s apparent devotion to the state of Israel and ended with the observation that his daylong ecclesiastical clambake, known as “The Response,” was little more than “a masquerade ball of hypocrites and false prophets,” as I termed it at the time. Apparently I was closer to the truth than I realized. Now comes a story in the Texas Observer on a group of “radical Christians and self-proclaimed prophets,” some of whom played leading roles in organizing the event and who have, apparently quite avidly, thrown their support behind the Texas governor, now a formally-declared presidential candidate. From the story:
On September 28, 2009, at 1:40 p.m., God’s messengers visited Rick Perry. On this day, the Lord’s messengers arrived in the form of two Texas pastors, Tom Schlueter of Arlington and Bob Long of San Marcos, who called on Perry in the governor’s office inside the state Capitol. Schlueter and Long both oversee small congregations, but they are more than just pastors. They consider themselves modern-day apostles and prophets, blessed with the same gifts as Old Testament prophets or New Testament apostles. The pastors told Perry of God’s grand plan for Texas. A chain of powerful prophecies had proclaimed that Texas was “The Prophet State,” anointed by God to lead the United States into revival and Godly government. And the governor would have a special role.
According to the story, the two pastors are members of the New Apostolic Reformation, a group which the Texas Observer describes as “a little-known but increasingly influential movement at the periphery of American Christianity.” The movement was founded by one C. Peter Wagner, who evidently sees himself at the vanguard of “the most radical change in the way of doing Christianity since the Protestant Reformation.” Eight people affiliated with the organization played roles on The Response “leadership team,” the newspaper avers. The article is a fairly respectable piece of journalism, though it suffers the flaw of including a quote from the rather discredited Southern Poverty Law Center. Be that as it may, if you go to the Texas Observer website you can read how some New Apostle members claim to have predicted earthquakes in Japan and have managed to convince themselves that Perry is anointed by God to play “a leadership role beyond Texas.” And of course, there is the inevitable Christian Zionist infatuation with Israel:
Claims of such powers are rife among Wagner’s followers. Cindy Jacobs—a self-described “respected prophet” and Wagner protégée who runs a Dallas-area group called Generals International—claims to have predicted the recent earthquakes in Japan. “God had warned us that shaking was coming,” she wrote in Charisma magazine, an organ for the movement. “This doesn’t mean that it was His desire for it to happen, but more of the biblical fulfillment that He doesn’t do anything without first warning through His servants.”… …Last year Jacobs warned that if America didn’t return to biblical values and support Israel, God would cause a “tumbling of the economy and dark days will come,” according to Charisma. To drive the point home, Jacobs and other right-wing allies—including The Response organizers Lou Engle and California pastor Jim Garlow—organized a 40-day “Pray and Act” effort in the lead-up to the 2010 elections. A hop over to the Charisma website also turns up an article entitled Muslim Extremists Threaten to Burn Christian Women, dated August 8, as well as a separate article, also dated the 8th, on the Palestinian statehood issue. A comment from one “Rickd”, accompanying the latter, asserts that “this is clearly an end times issue. We need to pray against the UN move.” A tip of the hat is in order to Greg Bacon at the Goon Squad blog for posting much of this information. Click hereto peruse his entire post on the matter, which includes a video of an Amy Goodman interview with Forrest Wilder, the reporter who wrote the Texas Observer story. Also included is a video of Jacobs giving a talk in which she suggests a connection between the repeal of “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” and the blackbird die-off in Arkansas. As I’ve written a couple of times previously, Christian Zionists do not worship Jesus, they worship Jews. My own take on all this? With such leaders as these in its midst, Christianity may well be at its most serious crossroad in its 2000 year history. What is happening to the Christian faith strangely mirrors what is happening to America. Both in a sense are being decimated from within.
In 2008, World Public Opinion polled 17 countries to find out what people thought. Was Al-Qaeda behind the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the United States? Almost 50 percent of people thought Al Qaeda was behind the attacks (the blue lines on the chart).
But was it? Is there even a real outfit called Al Qaeda? Wikipedia thinks so, saying it “is a global militant SunniIslamist group founded by Osama bin Laden sometime between August 1988 and late 1989.”
Al Queda itself does not exist, except in the fevered imaginations of neo-cons and Likudniks, some of whom, I suspect, also know it is a myth, but find it extremely useful as a bogeyman to spook the public and the politicians to acquiesce in otherwise unacceptable policy initiatives at home and abroad. By those terms, Al Queda is cast like “the Mafia” and similar nonsense coming from police lobbies.
The truth is, there is no Islamic army or terrorist group called Al Qaida. And any informed intelligence officer knows this. But there is a propaganda campaign to make the public believe in the presence of an identified entity representing the ‘devil’ only in order to drive the ‘TV watcher’ to accept a unified international leadership for a war against terrorism. The country behind this propaganda is the US and the lobbyists for the US war on terrorism are only interested in making money.
So the next time you hear “Al Qaeda” on CNN or FOX News, think of this formula: CIA + Mossad + MI5 = Al Qaeda. And you might be right.
In the aftermath of crimes perpetrated by the Cryptocracy’s “lone nuts,” the controlled media seek to muddy the waters with competing theories, motives, background, ideologies and affiliations acribed to the shooter. In the case of Lee Harvey Oswald he has been presented as pro-Castro and anti-Castro; a CIA agent and a Soviet agent; a pawn of the Mafia and a stooge of the FBI. The JFK assassination itself has been presented as a military coup, a mafia hit, a CIA hit, a right wing hit, a left-wing hit etc. The same game has been played with the source of the cancer pandemic in the United States. It is exacerbated by drinking coffee; on the other hand, coffee prevents cancer; cancer is caused by junk food; on the other hand studies show there is no link between junk food and cancer. The point of all of this deliberately seeded confusion is to discourage us from seeking the real causes of cancer and the actual perpetrators of conspiracy. The end result of this misdirection is that the people tend to beieve that “everything causes cancer;” therefore they continue with their status quo lifestyle. The assassination of John F. Kennedy has been so muddied that there is the tendency to think, “everyone killed Kennedy.” Of course if everyone did it, then no one did; at least no one we can trace or indict or bring to justice. Why Do Most Americans Know Nothing About These Issues

Hoping that others may also find useful material in it. Far too often, issues involving Israel and its actions are addressed in a sophisticated and complex manner, often with little or no linkage among them. This is fine for professionals who are well versed in the subject matter, and can infer detail and linkages where none is explicitly given or made. But it is NOT so for a general public, most of whom are not even aware that these issues exist, and have been exposed to a steady diet of pro-Israel propaganda throughout most if not all of their lives. This can be used in many ways, but I would focus on state and local officials, newspapers and radio and TV stations, and veterans groups. The classic “grass roots” approach is the only way to circumvent the virtual lock the Zionists have at the national level in the political realm and the media. So let us begin.
Towards a Changing View
I began as a supporter of Israel. I knew nothing of ‘the Nakba’ (Israel’s ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in 1948) and wouldn’t have cared much if I had heard of it. In the years of death, ethnic cleansing and resettlement of peoples during and after WWII, it just didn’t matter. And with the USSR supporting most of the Arab countries, US support of Israel (like Iran under the Shah) made sense. It was only in the aftermath of the Six Days War (1967) that things changed.
Israeli Attack on the USS Liberty
On June 8, 1967, early in the Six-Day Middle East War, Israeli aircraft and motor torpedo boats attacked the USS Liberty, a US Navy intelligence ship off the coast. Over 200 sailors and Marines were killed or wounded. Israel declared it had mistaken the ship for an Egyptian horse transport, and the US Government accepted that explanation. So did I, until 8 years later. Then I learned. Separate attempts by the two carriers with the US 6th Fleet to launch aircraft to come to the rescue of the USS Liberty were recalled: The first by Defense Secretary Robert McNamara; the second personally by then-President Lyndon Johnson. Either rescue effort would have prevented most of the US casualties. It is interesting to know that even then, the US Commander-in-Chief valued Israel more than the lives of Americans in uniform. And isn’t it a pity that nothing has changed?
But the Killer is 9/11, orchestrated by Israel
We have all heard of 19 named Arabs in 4 planes, bringing down the two tallest buildings at the World Trade Center, striking the Pentagon, and putting one plane into a Pennsylvania field. We have not heard the rest of the story. It begins with WTC7,and creates an evidentiary trail leading directly to Israel and its cohorts in the US.
WTC7 – so much more than the proverbial “smoking gun”
The 47-story WTC7 collapsed straight down into its own footprint the evening of 9/11, even though it was not hit by a plane. This map depicts the layout of the World Trade Center, and the path of debris from the impacting aircraft. Note that smaller buildings closer to the Twin Towers did not collapse in that manner, even though at least one was hit by debris from a plane and others by debris from WTC1 & WTC2. A striking video involves an interview on Dutch TV with a Dutch demolitions expert named Danny Jowenko.
First, the controlled demolition of WTC7 means if one building at the WTC was wired for a controlled demolition, then all three were.
Second, the impacting civilian airliners were intended to provide a gruesome and shocking distraction that would facilitate the actual destruction of the buildings by other means.
Third, any successful operation of this type requires expertise, access to the target(s), and effective local support to facilitate post-attack escape & evasion.
Fourth, neither the 19 named Arabs nor any of their possible supporters in the US or elsewhere had the expertise, access and local support needed to do that.
Fifth, only Israel had the required expertise, access and local support – inside and outside of the US Government – and a positive incentive to bring down those buildings, which was to enrage the American public and bring the US into war against Israel’s enemies.
So much links Israel to 9/11 – Only a public confession is missing, e.g.
Many key Bush Administration officials came from PNAC (Project for a New American Century). All were Zionists (Israeli partisans). They wrote about the need for a “catalytic event” to mobilize the American people.
Eight months after coming into office, they got their catalytic event on 9/11, followed by the wars their agenda required.
The company providing 24/7 electronic & personal security to the WTC, Kroll Associates, was owned & operated by Zionists, as was the WTC itself as of July 2001.
The owners and their immediate relatives seem to have been uncharacteristically absent on the morning of 9/11. Hundreds of American Jews died at the WTC & the Pentagon, but as best as can be determined, only 3 Israelis out of some 4,000 normally there, plus 2 more on the planes.
The senior fatality among WTC personnel was a retired Irish-American FBI agent in his first days on his job as Director of Security.
A private Israeli-owned security company called ICTS, registered in the Netherlands, provided security services (sometimes through a wholly owned subsidiary) to all three airports from which the four hijacked planes departed.
ICTS also provided security at the airports in Paris & Amsterdam, from which the so-called “shoe” & “underwear” bombers respectively departed.
Bergen, NJ residents saw five people on a white van filming the attacks and visibly celebrating. They had set up their cameras before the first plane hit. Police arrested them. All were Israelis. Bomb-sniffing dogs reacted as if they had detected explosives, although officers were unable to find anything. The FBI seized the van for further testing.
All 5 were later released at the instigation of Israeli & American Jewish leaders, some in the US Government. Details are still classified.
A second van was stopped on the approaches to the George Washington Bridge. As CBS’s Dan Rather said in his live report:
“Two suspects are in FBI custody after a truckload of explosives were discovered around the George Washington Bridge. That bridge links New York to New Jersey over the Hudson River. Whether the discovery of those explosives had anything to do with other events today is unclear, but the FBI, has two suspects in hand, said the truckload of explosives, enough explosives were in the truck to do great damage to the George Washington Bridge…“
Those suspects and the incident then seem to have disappeared from the record.
NORAD (North American Air Defense command) and its fighters were conspicuously tardy. They should have intercepted the 4 aircraft within minutes but did not do so, due to a linked series of failures to (1) get timely FAA reports of the deviating aircraft, (2) scramble fighters from the closest bases, (3) intercept at maximum speed, and (4) redeploy already airborne fighters to do the intercepts.
Several PNAC alums and their counterparts were in positions to affect that outcome.
And as for the 9/11 Commission…
A fatally flawed commission, not least because of its pro-Israel staffing.
Many implausible details were accepted or allowed to stand without comment, such as the delivery by a well-dressed man of an intact passport to a detective at the base of the Twin Towers – a passport used to identify one of the named hijackers, that somehow survived the plane’s impact, the ensuing explosion and fire, and an 800-foot fall unaffected by wind.
The 9/11 Commission’s Executive Director Philip D. Zelikow evidently ensured that nothing deflecting attention from the 19 named Arabs, or toward Israel, would make the final report, whose reading defies belief.
He also told an audience at the University of Virginia on September 10, 2002 that the real reason for his urging war with Iraq regardless of 9/11 was “the threat against Israel.” His concerns and loyalties are at least consistent.
So just what is the US supporting?
History, policy, and governmental actions tell only part of the story, of course.
The attitudes and values prevalent in Israel are also important, and almost unknown in the US.
Here are some of both that speak volumes.
Attack on Gaza: Israel’s Way of War
The Israeli assault on Gaza in December 2008 – January 2009 is a classic case in ruthlessness applied to a densely populated urban area. In the operation, some 1,400 Palestinians were killed – nearly a third of whom were women and children who had no conceivable military role – and approximately 5,400 more were wounded.
Israel denied any excesses or significant casualties among noncombatants. The evidence says otherwise.
Differing estimates are presented here from: (1) B’Tselem, an Israeli Human Rights organization; (2) its Palestinian counterpart; and (3) the official Israeli military estimate.
You will note that the Palestinian organization has a lower figure of combatants killed than the other two, but is still very close to that of B’Tselem. Both consider police officers to be different from combatants, while the Israeli military makes no such distinction. Also the two Human Rights groups have nearly identical counts of women and children killed, while the Israeli military minimizes those losses, perhaps considering families of dead police officers to be militants, too.
The first Israeli attacks
Israel opened its attack on Gaza with simultaneous strikes on numerous Palestinian police stations, including the graduating class of a Palestinian police academy. Nearly a third of the so-called “militants” killed were police officers and young cadets. I was reminded of my own graduation from Marine boot camp, standing there in my new uniform with my family and friends across the parade ground. It was a time of celebration. But in Gaza, the Israeli strike force – mostly American-made, with American munitions – came, and left this carnage. Had I survived something like this at my Marine Corps graduation, I would want the perpetrators (to quote Rahm Emanuel) dead, dead, dead…
Then there were the “militants” who disguised themselves as children….
....compounded by the widespread use by Israel of white phosphorus and cluster bombs (both provided by the US) in a densely populated urban area, the former a war crime – and therefore its Israeli perpetrators war criminals. The image on the left below is a UN school under attack; the other is a woman whose husband and baby daughter were killed by the white phosphorus shells that burned her. A Jerusalem Tribunal seems to be in order…
And we wonder why they, and so many others, hate the US
Every international tribunal and agency that investigates Israel and Palestine, including one headed by a Jewish judge from South Africa, has strongly condemned Israel for this onslaught, among many others. Joining the condemnation are many traditional US allies. This, too, few Americans understand. But the US Government continues to exercise its veto in the UN Security Council to protect Israel from any international sanctions. On February 18, 2011, the US used its veto against all 14 other members. This happens often. In recent years, the US has used its veto power more than the other 4 permanent members combined – almost always on behalf of Israel.
An article of faith
A key issue is the extent to which an orthodox or ultra-orthodox version of Judaism permeates an otherwise largely secular Israeli society. The former Israel Defense Forces’ chief rabbi, Brig. Gen. Avichai Rontzki, told students in a pre-army yeshiva program in 2009 that soldiers who “show mercy” toward the enemy in wartime will be “damned”. His views were controversial, but he was NOT repudiated by the Israeli government, and he completed his full 4-year term. His replacement is somewhat less extreme, but Rontzki’s views are still popular in Israel, especially with Jewish settlers and the ultra-orthodox.
So this is faith? (An Israeli girl inscribes her own message of hate)
One of the most extreme examples to emerge is a controversial book called The King’s Torah, written by two settler rabbis. One chilling edict is that: The prohibition ‘Thou Shalt Not Murder’ applies only “to a Jew who kills a Jew,” write Rabbis Yitzhak Shapira and Yosef Elitzur of the West Bank settlement of Yitzhar. Non-Jews are “uncompassionate by nature” and attacks on them “curb their evil inclination,” while babies and children of Israel’s enemies may be killed since “it is clear that they will grow to harm us.” Many in Israel condemned it. Many also supported it. Most Americans heard nothing about it. Guess why…
Then there is the Wall…
One of the great ironies is that two decades after the Berlin Wall fell, Israel has been constructing an “Apartheid Wall” around and within occupied Palestine, to protect Jewish settlers and contain Palestinian resistance. It has been noted that The most obvious historical parallel to the barrier is the Berlin Wall, which was 96 miles long…. Israel’s barrier, still under construction, is expected to reach at least 403 miles in length… The average height of the Berlin Wall was 11.8 feet….compared with the maximum current height of Israel’s Wall — 25 feet… four times as long and in places twice as high as the Berlin Wall. For the US, what was bad in Europe is fine in Palestine, if Israel wants it.
…And the Jewish Settlers
There are perhaps a half-million Jewish settlers, many from the US & Russia, in Palestine. Not all are religious fanatics, racist or violent. But the most extreme ultra-orthodox beliefs, blatant racism and an affinity for violence have fertile ground in the settlements, all of them on Palestinian lands illegally, except, of course, to Israel and the US Government. Their influence in Israel is significant and rising, the tip of an Israeli society that is far more racist, militarist and intolerant than South Africa during apartheid – a point many black South Africans have made repeatedly, but which somehow is never considered “newsworthy” by the mainstream media (MSM) in the US.
And as if that were not enough, here is the Israel we support and enable
Israeli expansion of settlements continues in East Jerusalem and the West Bank. Their usual practice is for armed police to enter a Palestinian area at night and evict the residents, then bring in Jewish settlers and protect them. This is what happened to the woman in the picture and her family, losing a home of nearly a half-century. She and friends returned the next day to try to salvage something from the ruin of their life. This is what she met; the picture was taken by a friend. Lovely, right? This is what the US protects with its pledges of eternal support for Israel… The face of an Israel it dares not let Americans see.
So why do most Americans know nothing about these things?
Accurate portrayals and graphics that leave no doubt about what Israel has done, to the US and to others, are rarely seen in the US.
The US Government generally, like the 9/11 Commission itself, studiously avoided any evidence pointing to Israeli involvement.
Few in Washington, D.C.– any branch, either party or independents, elected or appointed — dare stand up & criticize Israel for anything.
And just WHO is in charge here?
Few Americans therefore even suspect what much of the world knows: Israel, through the ownership of the mainstream media (MSM) and the leverage exercised by a hydra-headed pro-Israel lobby, effectively controls the US Government, especially the Congress. Indeed, the Congress has for decades accurately been described as “Israeli occupied territory.” This is particularly true of candidates for the Presidency. No one today can be a serious contender for President from either major party without what have become obligatory pledges of fealty to Israel and laudatory appearances before major Jewish audiences. But I remember when that was not so, and when our President was expected to serve US & not Israeli interests…
The same holds for the Administration, no matter which party is in power
Almost all of the key US officials dealing with the Middle East were and are Jewish, many with dual citizenship. (The “neo-conservatives” began as Jewish Democrats dissatisfied with President Carter, but now include some who are not Jewish.) Those who are not are strongly pro-Israel, a virtual condition of their appointment, confirmation and support by a Congress whose members compete for Israeli approval – or keep silent Ha’aretz, an Israeli newspaper, remarked in late 2009 that “Every appointee to the American government must endure a thorough background check by the American Jewish community.“No surprise to Israelis, nor to anyone in the US policy community, but a great surprise to most Americans – if they ever heard or read about it. Anyone in the US pointing this out, or even criticizing Israel in any way, is immediately assailed as an anti-Semite or (if Jewish) a self-hating Jew, no matter how ridiculous the charges might be in reality. This is not surprising. Israel’s politicians and supporters have no choice. Like lawyers who find themselves defending a hopelessly guilty client with both law and evidence against them, they pound the table and hurl vile accusations, hoping to quiet the accusers. But it is important to understand that the current concept of anti-Semitism has nothing to do with bigotry towards Jews or Judaism. Indeed, the entire debate over Israel is not one of “Jew versus anti-Semite” as Israel’s supporters would have everyone else believe. It is one of Zionists (supporters of Israel, not all of them Jewish) versus Israel’s critics, a growing number of whom are themselves Jewish, including some Israelis. What “anti-Semitism” means now is any criticism of Israel, or its foreign or domestic policies and actions, or its treatment of Palestinians, or of any individual in the US or elsewhere who supports Israel. The “new” charge of anti-Semitism is therefore intended to shield Israel in the face of activities that, to Israel & its supporters, are “existential threats” to “delegitimize” it, and not an elementary quest for justice and peace, which to most Israelis means only their hegemony.
So what is this about the Zionist control of the US mainstream media (MSM)?
Information is power, and the overwhelmingly Zionist-owned MSM makes sure that Americans see, hear and read what Israel wants them to do. This, plus the enormous financial leverage provided by a brigade of Jewish political action committees (PACs) in the US, gives them effective control of both public opinion and the US Government.
This is what it looked like in 2001-2002…
Mainstream Media 2001-2002
CEOs and Directors of companies can change as often as Boards of Directors vote. But if we could “freeze frame” the CEOs of the largest U.S. Media companies in mid 2002, covering the aftermath of 9/11, the attack on Afghanistan and the lead-in to the war in Iraq, we would find that ten outspoken Zionists ran the vast majority of U.S. television networks and other media companies including movies, radio, and publishing at that time. Note that all except Rupert Murdoch are Americans and Jewish; Murdoch is an Australian, apparently with one Jewish grandparent, but a fervent & influential Zionist nonetheless.
….Zionist control has visibly increased today: Media conglomerates owned or led by Zionists in 2011 control:
•All of the major networks (ABC, CBS, CNN, FOX, NBC).
•All of the major national newspapers (New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, USA Today).

•All major political journals (Nation, National Review, New Republic, Weekly Standard).
•Most of the major film studios in Hollywood and New York City.

The silence of the media on WTC7 and so many of the anomalies associated with 9/11 is deafening. The natural tendency of the media is to investigate any alleged governmental misdeeds with relish, seeing therein prestige and profits.That the media did NOT do that with 9/11, and has generally either ignored or disparaged other efforts to do so, is because its ownership and management knew, suspected or feared that any evidentiary trail would lead directly or indirectly to Israel and its US support base.
And lobbies, lobbies everywhere…
Israel has so many PACs and supporting groups that it has a “Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations” to coordinate the activities of its current list of 51 members.
AIPAC (the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee) which focuses on the US Government (especially the Congress), is just one of those 51 members, although arguably the most potent because of its focus on Washington.
The Israeli Government sponsored ICIC Hasbara (public diplomacy) offers a wide range of services.
The Hasbara Fellowships program extends this to campuses.
“StandWithUs” continues this, with a strong pro-settler spin.
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) assails any effort to hold Israel accountable for its actions, seeing “anti-Semites” (their own witches, perhaps?) everywhere.

Epilogue: Costs & Consequences
The price the US pays…
For the joy and satisfaction of providing unlimited and unquestioning support of Israel, we have had a national tragedy (9/11); have waged two needless wars (Afghanistan & Iraq); and are being goaded into a third equallyneedless war against Iran (with Syria to follow) by the same people who brought us the others. As of 2/2011, these wars have cost the US some $1.2 trillion, exclusive of the losses at the WTC and the assistance we have provided Israel. Our casualties to date are approximately 67,000 killed and wounded. Both figures will rise sharply following an attack on Iran. And there is the erosion of our freedom under the misbegotten “Patriot Act” and its offspring…
And what we have done to others
Our price does not include all of the death & suffering & destruction we have caused at Israel’s instigation.
We have shattered two countries already, and aside from the internal damage to them, there are literally millions of dead, wounded & dispossessed refugees in Afghanistan & Iraq, more of them in Pakistan, and of course the long-suffering Palestinians.
Where we go…
Depends on what kind of a legacy we wish to leave to our grandchildren and to posterity:
The US can be a protector, enabler and ally of first and last resort to an Israel few would support if they truly knew what is was and did, spending our lives and treasure in support of its ambitions; or
The American people can realize that they have been misled & betrayed from within and without, take back their government, and treat Israel as the rogue it is – a criminal state we have fostered.

31 American military personnel were killed when the Boeing Chinook helicopter in which they were flying crashed in Afghanistan.
Of the thirty-one killed, twenty were members of SEAL Team 6.
More importantly, I’ve been reliably informed (by a retired Colonel, US Army intel) that these very same operatives were the men who allegedly killed Usama bin Laden recently in Abbottabad. [NB: Seal Team 6 is an ultra-elite group of “black” operatives who exist outside military protocol, engage in operations that are at the highest level of classification, and often outside the bounds of international law.]
The official story is that the Taliban shot down the chopper. I have my doubts (as do many others far more savvy than yours truly).
[Remember Pat Tillman, the Pro Football star who forsook a megabuck contract and volunteered to go fight in Afghanistan in the heat of the post-9/11 patriotic frenzy? The official story is that Tillman was killed in a friendly-fire incident. According to reports from several US military personnel (a few of whom I know), Pat Tillman was assassinated by his own government. Reportedly, Tillman, the quintessential poster-boy for military recruitment, was waking up to the 9/11 lie, and was beginning to get a little too loose-lipped for his own good. Word traveled up the chain fast. Three bullets to the head fired at close range killed him. Friendly-fire indeed.]

Usama’s “recent death” brings to mind photos that made international headlines during the Iraq invasion.
Remember that iconic image of cheering Iraqis helping bring down the statue of Saddam? A Marine I know told me he had a friend who was actually there, on the ground, in that town square. Evidently, there were no more than 50 Iraqis in that “cheering crowd” — and virtually all of them were paid to participate in the photo shoot. [Did you happen to notice there was only one tightly cropped shot from just one camera angle? The rest of the square was virtually empty, save for US military personnel and equipment.]
Then there was that other classic shot, of a bearded and bedraggled Saddam crawling out of a hole with his hands pathetically held up in the air in a gesture of utter defeat. Remember that one?
Again, rigged. I’m personally acquainted with a former Marine who knows one of the guys who actually helped stage that sordid affair.
Truth is, Saddam was finally cornered in the home of one of his friends, and he fought valiantly to the last bullet. He was eventually nabbed, mussed up further (he apparently didn’t look great to begin), physically forced into the hole, and dirt thrown on him for good measure to ensure a Hollywood-grade image. That photo’s singular intent was to demoralize the Iraqi populace by showing their leader cowering in abject defeat.
Usama bin Laden’s REAL Death
It is generally known by military insiders (and others who look to alternative sources for their news) that Usama bin Laden died of natural causes in 2001. He had just returned to Pakistan from Dubai following medical treatment at the American Hospital.
As early as March, 2000, Asia Week expressed concern for bin Laden’s health, describing a serious medical problem that could put his life in danger because of “a kidney infection that is propagating itself to the liver and requires specialized treatment.”
Having taken off from Quetta in Pakistan, bin Laden arrived in Dubai and was transferred to the American Hospital. He was accompanied by his personal physician and a ‘faithful lieutenant’ (possibly al-Zawahiri). Usama was admitted to the well-respected urology department run by Dr. Terry Callaway, an American gallstone and infertility specialist.
Bin Laden was checked into one of the hospital’s VIP suites. While there, he received visits from many members of his family as well as prominent Saudis and Emiratis. During the hospital stay, the local CIA agent, known to many in Dubai, was seen taking the main elevator of the hospital to bin Laden’s floor.
A few days later, the CIA man bragged to a few friends about having visited bin Laden. Reliable sources report that on July 15th, the day after bin Laden returned to Quetta, the CIA agent was recalled to headquarters. [NB: Contacts between the CIA and bin Laden began in 1979 when, as a representative of his family’s business, he began recruiting volunteers for the Afghan resistance against the Soviet Red Army.]
The LAST ‘Death’ of bin Laden
What the world has been told about the recent “Death of Usama bin Laden” is pitiful and laughably absurd (especially the parts about no forensic tests having been performed, and the body quickly dumped into the sea. That last doctored photo was the clincher).
Truth is, bin Laden’s bin dead a long time.
The charade in Abbottabad was one massive a psyop to provide soothing peace of mind for the American public subject to full-throttle media propaganda, while continuing, unabatedly, one of the greatest, deadliest, and most expensive hoaxes of all time: 9/11 and “The War on Terror.”
And now, every single SEAL Team 6 member who was involved in the ‘assassination’ psyop is dead.
Incidentally, I had to smile when I saw one particularly amusing headline re Usama’s latest death, in the US publication Business Insider: “Meet The ‘Seal Team 6’, The Bad-Asses Who Killed Osama Bin Laden”

FREE SPEECH REVIVING IN CANADA, BRITAIN BUT NOT CA, ISRAEL

For 40 years the Jewish Anti-Defamation League and B’nai B’rith International have tirelessly embedded hate speech and hate crime laws in western democracies. Yet flickerings of hope continue to appear. As Israel is battered by world criticism, Israel’s PR rep, the Anti-Defamation League, is distracted from focusing as it once did on removing freedom of speech and persecuting free thinkers and Christians. Such slowing of the hate crimes agenda is particularly apparent in the failure—if not refusal—of “the vast majority” of the fifty-five member states of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, to provide hate crimes statistics to ADL or enact new ADL hate laws. (ADL.org, “OSCE States Not Fulfilling Pledge On Hate Crimes”)
Recent events in Canada and England bring hope that even countries deeply committed to hate laws can experience a citizen awakening. They can even potentially repeal some of the legislation and thinking that ADL/B’nai B’rith have so fought to enshrine.
On the American state level, ADL and progressive Jewish groups continue to lobby for pro-homosexual, “anti-bullying” and same sex marriage legislation. Such efforts to forbid “discrimination” against sodomites are massively eroding freedom of speech.
Here are brief descriptions of the good and bad news on the hate law front.
Canada
ADL’s notorious Canadian internet hate crime law, Sec. 13, criminalized online “hatred and contempt” (criticism) toward special federally protected groups (primarily Jews and homosexuals). In 2009 it was declared unconstitutional by the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal, which refused to penalize indicted freedom activist Marc Lemire with a lifetime speech ban and heavy fines.
The Canadian Human Rights Commission (CHRC) appealed the decision in federal court—and was predictably joined by the three northern branches of Jewish hate law activism: the Canadian Jewish Congress, B’nai B’rith Canada and the Friends of the Simon Wiesenthal Centre.
Paul Fromm’s Free Speech Monitor says, “The Lemire case is the definitive challenge to Sec. 13. Literally all other Sec. 13 cases in Canada have been stopped pending a final decision.”
If the federal court upholds Lemire’s challenge to censorship, tremendous new freedom will come to Canada. This leaves infamous Sec. 319 (ADL/B’nai B’rith’s general hate law in Canada), plus severely punitive hate laws in all the provinces, to be dismantled. Britain
For over a century, Britain has been in steep moral decline, with only around six percent attending church. Steeped in evolution and secular humanism, and with no First Amendment guarantees, spiritual apathy has left the UK open to ADL-promoted hate crime laws. This has resulted in some of the most extreme and absurd restrictions on Christian free speech and action in the west.
Yet today Britain’s primary federal hate law enforcer—the Equality and Human Rights Commission—has actually offered to defend Christians singled out for hate law prosecution! It says judges in the UK have been ruling “too narrowly.” The Commission is asking to intervene on behalf of indicted Christians as their cases are moved through the European Court of Human Rights.
The commission’s legal director, John Wadham, says “Our intervention in these cases would encourage judges to interpret the law more broadly and more clearly to the benefit of people who are religious and those who are not…The idea of making reasonable adjustments to accommodate a person’s needs has served disability discrimination law well for decades. It seems reasonable that a similar concept could be adapted to allow someone to manifest their religious beliefs.”
Pending cases of discrimination include a Christian couple banned from fostering children because of their refusal to promote homosexuality. The Equality and Human Rights Commission says it may defend four cases:
…British Airways employee Nadia Eweiva, who was sent home from working after refusing to move a cross necklace; counselor Gary McFarlane, who was fired for declining to advise homosexuals on their relationship; Lillian Ladele, who was disciplined for refusing as a registrar to conduct “marriage” ceremonies for homosexuals; and Shirley Chaplain, a nurse who was ordered to a desk job because she was wearing a cross necklace. California
On Thursday California Gov. Brown signed Senate Bill 48 into law, criminalizing public school teachers who educate kids about homosexuality in anything less than glowing terms. The Fair, Accurate, Inclusive and Respectful (FAIR) Education Act bans “discriminatory” material and instruction, while forcing public school students to learn about the “contributions” of homosexual and transgendered Americans. SB48 was authored by Senator Mark Leno, who is the grandson of Russian Jewish immigrants and the first openly homosexual man in the Senate. Leno’s resume includes two years studying Talmud at Hebrew Union College. Legal experts warn this law will affect public schools across America as textbook manufacturers rewrite their material to suit this large state.
SB 48 joins free speech-destroying SB 777, signed into law by Gov. Schwarzenegger in 2009. SB 777 also makes it illegal to criticize homosexuality in California public schools. It was written by another Jewish legislator, Sheila Kuhl. Passage of both of these anti-free speech bills, written by pro-homosexual Jewish activists, is consistent with the Jewish Anti-Defamation League’s boast of having masterminded hate laws for 45 US states, as well as the federal hate crimes law, the Matthew Shephard Hate Crimes Prevention Act signed into law by Pres. Obama in 2009.

Israel
In a nation rife with speech restrictions, Israel’s Knesset added even more this past week with passage of Netanyahu’s “anti-boycott” bill. It makes it a speech crime in Israel for anyone to advocate a boycott against the Jewish state, its commerce or institutions, or settlements. Any person or organization who does so can be sued by the boycott’s targets, without any proof that damage was sustained! Economic, cultural, and other groups advocating boycott will be subject to government blacklist.
The anti-boycott bill is provoking howls of protest, not only from critics of Israel who desire boycott privileges as a tool to protest mistreatment of Palestinians but even from some of the largest Jewish organizations in America—Zionism’s strongest champions. Even ADL’s Abe Foxman, realizing the new law will only damage Israel’s image further, says it may “unduly impinge on the basic democratic rights of Israelis to freedom of speech and freedom of expression.” (ADL.org, “Knesset Anti-Boycott Law May Infringe On Basic Democratic Rights“)
Israel’s Right to Hate Crimes
Of course, Israeli’s speech restrictions are not new. It is one of the most speech restricted nations on earth. Through its history, Israel has curtailed the freedom of speech of Christians to evangelize and express their faith equally with Jews. Discriminated against for a century, Christian presence in the Holy Land has shrunk from 20 percent at the beginning of the 20th century to a struggling two percent today. [1] Israel’s formal speech ban on Christian “proselytizing” in Palestine began with its 1977 anti-missionary law mandating a five-year prison term for those offering so much as a gospel tract to an Israeli (See, “Religious Proselytizing: A Smear Term to Silence Christianity”). Similar prohibitions against witnessing to Jewish minors powerfully restrain free speech of both Jewish and Gentile Christians. This includes Christian tourists who must abide by the ban on vigorous public witnessing to Israelis or face deportation.
Today, a harassed minority of Greek Orthodox, Catholic and Maronite Christians expect to be literally spit on daily by Orthodox Jews on the streets of Jerusalem, with no punishment of their harassers by police or the government. Even worse, messianic Jewish and Christian believers, especially in southern Israel and the occupied territories, face constant harassment, discrimination and public insult both by Ultra-Orthodox settlers and also the police they control. Such “speech crime” discrimination, however, does not even begin to describe Israel’s speech restrictions on the Palestinians, stripping them of most of their rights to public free expression critical of Israel as well rights to their own cultural identity. Those who overtly express such self-determination are viewed as terrorists and face almost certain imprisonment without trial.
Link between Israel and ADL’s Hate Crime Agenda
Israel is the ultimate hate crimes bureaucracy. It epitomizes ADL’s definition that a hate crime is “bias-motivated” violence against another because of innate characteristics that include race and religion. Israel’s hate crimes against Palestinians most notoriously began with the Deir Yassin massacre in 1948, leading to widespread violence against 800,000 Palestinians it drove into concentration camps.
Yet Israel and Jewish supremacists consider themselves above the charge of “hate crimes.” Somehow it applies to goyim and Christians but never to Israel or Jewish hate law enforcers.
Why special protection for Jewish supremacists from the charge of hate crimes? It’s because, even when they are persecuting Christians through hate laws, they remain in the evangelical-influenced western world the long-suffering “chosen people,” criticism of whom is anti-Semitic. It’s also because ADL, Israel and their hate laws are founded on the “leaven of hypocrisy” which Jesus said was the most distinctive feature of the Pharisees, founders of modern Talmudic Judaism. Yet because most hypocrites are liars, ultimately seen through, the lies of Israel and even the hate laws which ADL has inflicted on the world are, at least in Canada and England, being questioned. May God give us grace to continue to withstand Israel, ADL and Jewish supremacism by every legal and ethical means. Every day we do so increases the chance that a very slow-to-learn humanity may at least perceive who is their deadliest enemy.
