Ernst Zündel: World’s Best-Known Political Prisoner, Dead at 78

August 9, 2017

Here are three articles, two by revisionist historian and Judaic scholar, Michael Hoffman. The third is by Mike King of TomatoBubble fame. Please read them because you won’t find this information in the mainstream media. As a Jewish correspondent remarked recently, the world has always been divided between those who have a plan and those who are kept in ignorance of it. The first is government and those who control it, and the second is the mass of ordinary people, like you and me. Although we’re ordinary, we can at least inform ourselves. It’s still not a crime…not yet.

Canadian Christian blogger convicted of ‘online hate’ by B.C. court

Curfew and internet ban for B.C. man convicted of online hate against Jewish people
Arthur Topham tells judge it was his ‘duty to alert public … to ‘imminent threat of Jewish lobby’

Arthur Topham arrives at the Quesnel courthouse Monday for sentencing on his hate crime conviction. (Wil Fundal/CBC News)

A B.C. man convicted of an anti-semitic [i.e., anti-Zionist] hate crime has been kicked off the internet, but Arthur Topham won’t serve any jail time.Following a trial in Quesnel in 2015, a jury convicted Topham of one count of communicating online statements that wilfully promoted hatred against Jewish people. [On a second, virtually similar account, Topham was found not guilty. The jury that convicted Topham on the first count did not understand the meaning of ‘parody’!]

He could have faced up to two years in jail.

But at his sentencing Monday, B.C. Supreme Court Judge Bruce Butler rejected the Crown’s request for four months of house arrest for what Crown lawyer Jennifer Johnston called “an indirect call for violence against Jewish people.”

Judge rejects house arrest

Instead, Butler sentenced Topham to a six-month conditional sentence with a ban on posting publicly online and a curfew.

Topham appeared unrepentant, telling the court before sentencing that it was ‘his duty … to alert the … public to the imminent threat …. [of] the Jewish lobby.”

Topham, a 70 year old grandfather and retired teacher, published RadicalPress.com online from his rural home in Cottonwood, B.C., about 700 kilometres north of Vancouver.

The site featured frequent posts that touted Jewish conspiracies and demonized Jewish people. [Apparently, only Jewish bloggers are allowed to express opinions about Jews. See Henry Makow website.]

One piece that Topham called ‘satire’ advocated the forced sterilization of all Jews. [Actually, Topham satirized the book, Germany Must Perish, available on Amazon, in which the Jewish author, Theodore Newman Kaufman, advocated forced sterilization of all Germans! So, real anti-German hate is OK in Canada!]

“He does not call for violence; his views were political satire,” Butler told the sentencing hearing. “It is not his intent to indirectly incite violence.”

Butler ruled that Topham deliberately used the internet to disseminate anti-Semitic information but said the man was not calling for violence.

Controversial website shut down

The crown noted Topham had already agreed to shut down his website, a site which remained active for the year after his conviction but was gone before sentencing. Topham also offered to end his online presence.

Defence lawyer Barclay Johnson had called on the judge to give Topham a discharge.

“My view is that jurors were not convinced,” said the defence lawyer, noting Topham was convicted of only one of two hate crime charges.

Johnson described his client as a good teacher, a father and grandfather and a journalist with “controversial views” and a large following.

“RadicalPress does not advocate violence,” said Johnson. “It does not say Jews should be hurt. My client is being prosecuted for material that can be found on Amazon.” [True, but just recently Amazon has censored 100s of books it does not agree with.]

Topham’s defence backed by ‘white nationalists’

This case was the first hate crime trial prosecuted in B.C. in almost a decade.

Topham’s defence fund was backed by Paul Fromm, a self proclaimed ‘white nationalist’ and free speech advocate who travelled from Ontario to attend the trial.

Topham’s lawyer argued his client has never been a member of a white supremacy group.

Topham’s case also attracted support from the Ontario Civil Liberties Association, which denounced Canada’s hate crime law for criminalizing “belief, opinion and expression of one’s beliefs and opinions … incompatible with the universal principle of free debate in a democracy.”

Topham thanked the court for “bringing my concerns to the record.”

“I felt that I had a duty as a Canadian citizen to alert the general public of an imminent threat … the interests of the Jewish lobby,” said Topham in court Monday.

Topham’s constitutional challenge of Canada’s hate crime laws was dismissed in February.

Christian Parent Sues School for Forcing Children To Perform Aboriginal ‘Cleansing Ritual’

Candice Servatius v. School District 70

In September of 2015, Candice Servatius received a letter from the principal of John Howitt Elementary School (JHES) in Port Alberni, BC, where her two children attend.  The letter informed parents that JHES would be hosting a “Traditional Nuu-chah-nulth Classroom/Student Cleansing” performed by a “Nuu-chah-nulth Member” in the school’s classrooms. The letter did not provide a date for when these cleansing rituals would take place.

The letter described specific beliefs of the Nuu-chah-nulth: “everything is one, all is connected” and  “everything has a spirit.”  The letter described in detail how the cleansing ritual would “cleanse” the classroom of “energy” and cleanse the students’ “spirits.” The letter claimed that without cleansing, the classroom and even the furniture would harbour negative “energy” and would not be safe until the “energy” was “released.” The letter stated that each student would participate in the cleansing ritual by holding onto a cedar branch while having “smoke from Sage fanned over [their] body and spirit.” This part of the cleansing ritual was identified as “Smudging.” Concerned about the explicitly religious nature of the cleansing ritual, Mrs. Servatius went to the school to learn more.  She was shocked to find out that this “cleansing ritual” had already been imposed on her children.

Her daughter explained that she had been coerced by the teacher to participate in the cleansing ritual. When Mrs. Servatius’ daughter expressed to her teacher that she did not want to participate, the teacher told Mrs. Servatius’ daughter that it would be “rude” not to participate in the religious ritual and that “all” the students were “required” to participate.

In January of 2016, Mrs. Servatius learned from her children that a prayer based on Aboriginal spirituality had been performed at a JHES student assembly, with explicit references to an unspecified “god”.  JHES did not notify parents.

School District 70 denies that these religious ceremonies and prayers are violating the religious freedom of Mrs. Servatius and her children, and claims that these are merely “cultural”.

In November of 2016, the Justice Centre filed a Petition with the BC Supreme Court in Nanaimo, BC.  Mrs. Servatius seeks a declaration that the actions of School District 70 in forcing her children to participate in a cleansing ritual and be subject to religious prayer have violated her and her children’s religious freedom. Mrs. Servatius also seeks a court order to prevent School District 70 from engaging in similar actions in the future.

Israel’s Stench
When I think I have heard it all, then I read about Israel’s national stench policy. I am referring to Israel’s use since 2008 of “skunk juice” as a weapon to keep Palestinians under control.
Victims have no idea of its chemical make-up but if they are sprayed with it, it takes days of scrubbing to get rid of the stench. In a land where water is scarce, smelling like the sewer is a disheartening experience.

According to Ben Ehrenreich, Skunk trucks could show up at any time, especially during celebrations, such as weddings, birthday parties, funerals or times of worship. Someone yells “skunk,” and everyone runs.

There was that truck, the white one idling behind the jeeps, a clear liquid dripping from the cannon on its roof. The liquid it so violently emitted was called skunk water. No one knew what chemicals it contained or what effect exposure to it might bring, but everyone knew what it smelled like. It smelled like dead dogs in a dumpster in August. Mainly, it smelled like shit. And no matter how many times you scrubbed your hair and your clothes, the scent would linger for days, even weeks.[1]

Run home, lock your doors. You still can’t hide from it. Skunk trucks drive down neighborhoods and business districts spraying its putrid smell on everything within a hundred yards. Its odor may linger in clothing for five years.[2]

Skunk is powerful stuff. A reporter described its effect:

Imagine taking a chunk of rotting corpse from a stagnant sewer, placing it in a blender and spraying the filthy liquid in your face. Your gag reflex goes off the chart and you can’t escape, because the nauseating stench persist for days.[3]

Palestinians living under Israeli occupation do not have to imagine. They know:

The truck blasted Mohammad’s house next, the jet of fluid smashed the first-floor windows and knocked him from his feet. He had just come home, triumphant from his close escape. Shattered glass cut his face and chest. Skunk water saturated the carpets and couches.[4]

Forty percent of Palestinian males have spent time in Israeli jails. Said Tamimi was one of them. After serving twenty years, he came home to find his house saturated with skunk juice. Once this happens, carpets, upholstery and clothes never get rid of the stench and wind up being thrown away. Even at that, he was lucky. Others have been hospitalized, either from the effects of the skunk itself or having been injured in the stampede running away from it.

Israel needs a new flag, one to represent Israel today. It would be brown. The Star of David, the symbol of a proud and praiseworthy Jewish heritage is far, far above skunk juice.
