[The 1% tells the 99% how to celebrate Christmas. Where are the so-called Israel worshippers known as ‘Christian Zionists’?]
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Two small artificial Christmas trees and a half-dozen teddy bears sat outside the front doors of La Cueva High School on Thursday – but they aren’t your standard holiday decorations.
Instead, the items are a silent protest over Albuquerque Public Schools’ decision to remove a school tree used to collect toys for children in need.
The “Bear Tree,” a La Cueva tradition for 27 years, came down Dec. 3, the same day a rabbi complained that it was insulting to non-Christians.
