Theologian David Ray Griffin kills 9/11 conspiracy theories

I clipped this little piece (shown left) by entertainment writer Dorothy Robinson writing in the “Entertainment” section of the free Metro World News (“The World’s Largest Global Newspaper”). Apparently she interviewed British Zionist author David Aaronovitch who claims that US theologian David Ray Griffin is a “conspiracist” who hasn’t a kernel of evidence that 9-11 was an inside job:

What is the top theory you’re surprised people believe?
Sept. 11. (conspiracist) David Ray Griffin is a top theologian, but he can’t see there isn’t one kernel of evidence to support his theories.

Directly below Ms. Robinson’s Q & A, a guest comment was added by Alan Miller who jokingly named several more “conspiracy nuts”:

Like David Ray Griffin, many senior veterans of the U.S. Intelligence Services also do not believe the official account of 9/11. Unfortunately, you’ll never learn that from David Aaronovitch or the mainstream media, who must at all cost maintain the fiction that only “conspiracy nuts” seek the truth about 9/11. Well then here are some more “conspiracy nuts” who happened to have served at the highest levels of the U.S. Intelligence Services for decades. – William Christison, Former Director of Regional and Political Analysis, CIA, “The North and South Towers of the World Trade Center almost certainly did not collapse and fall to earth because hijacked aircraft hit them. A plane did not hit Building 7 of the Center, which also collapsed. All three were most probably destroyed by controlled demolition charges placed in the buildings before 9/11.” – Maj. Gen. Albert Stubblebine, Former Commanding General US Army Intelligence, regarding the WTC Towers, “They didn’t fall down because airplanes hit them.

It’s interesting to see that “conspiracists” like Prof. Griffin can be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize (Nominee 2008 & 2009 and ranked 41st by The New Statesman in “The 50 People Who Matter Today).

There are many defenders of theologian David Ray Griffin. The following is one which I like from tvnewslies:

David Ray Griffin is not a crackpot or a conspiracy theorist. He is a theologian with a highly impressive background in religious philosophy who is passionately pursuing the truth about 9/11. He is also a fearless American, concerned that the conclusions of the Kean Commission whitewash much of the conflicting evidence about the attacks that has been unearthed.  His appeal is clearly directed at the religious community in this country, whose basic precepts of goodness, decency and truth should loudly demand an open inquiry into the evidence known today.

I think Ms. Robinson, in her haste to interview the British “debunker” of 9/11, missed the following kernel of evidence:

Final moments of the daring rescue efforts of the New York City Fire Department operating in the South Tower of the World Trade Center moments before it suddenly exploded into oblivion.

It’s too bad Robinson didn’t mention Griffin’s book Debunking 9/11 Debunking which would have provided a few more kernels of evidence for Aaronovitch. I was disappointed that Robinson just parrots the mumbojumbo fed to her by rabid political Zionist and Hasbara author David Aaronovitch who promoted the war in Iraq and now wants war with Iran. I haven’t read Aaronovitch’s book, but I’m sure he spouts the official line: Muslims did it.

It’s interesting to note that conspiracies are an every day occurrence as the following author explains:

Children conspire to play jokes on their friends, football teams conspire (in the huddle) to outmaneuver their opponents; the rich conspire with one another  to get richer and governments conspire about virtually everything. As a matter of fact every single person who has ever been convicted of a crime by a jury is the subject of a conspiracy theory; only in these cases a jury has accepted the theory as truth after seeing the evidence. Any time two or more people are involved in setting private plans to do anything, you have a conspiracy.  And every single time you have a powerful government, you have secret organizations conspiring to remain secret. Conspiracies, by definition are shrouded in secrecy.

A final kernel of evidence that 9-11 was an inside job comes from Dr. Alan Sabrosky, former Director of Studies at the US Army War College. He says the US military knows that Israel did 9/11. And I like the fact that he includes “pulpits” in his analysis because this points a finger at Christian Zionists who enable wars:

If these Americans and those like them ever fully understand just how much of their suffering — and the suffering we have inflicted on others — is properly laid on the doorsteps of Israel and its advocates in America, they will sweep aside those in politics, the press and the pulpits alike whose lies and disloyalty brought this about and concealed it from them. They may well leave Israel looking like Carthage after the Romans finished with it. It will be Israel’s own great fault.

  1. The article was written by Robinson, but was actually in reference to a book: “In Voodoo Histories,British author David Aaronovitch takes on those conspiracy theorists.”

Aaronovitch is not to be believed. Readers new to the topic might try going to the Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth site, and making up their own minds:
